I give it a 4 star review because it was hilarious for the amount of time I wore it. It gets really hot so I’d wear something light inside of it. Only downfall is the feet holes are really close together so it’s hard to walk in. I just hoped off the curb because it was hard to take the step.

This costume was hilarious and kept me very dry from the rain! My only issue was the eye holes were a little tricky to see out of however I Velcroed the hood so the eye holes stayed in the same place. Definitely recommend!

This was a great costume! Three generations of our family dressed up as Star Wars characters this last Halloween and this costume was the star. Only negative comment is the head was not very stable. They should look into this and come up with a better way to secure the “head” of the costume to the person’s head. But don’t let this discourage you from getting this.

Super Kostm.

I gave this as a Father’s Day gift for my Star wars geek husband and he LOVED it. Very comfortable because of the fan of course. And it looks like the real deal. He even wore it to ComicCon. It’s a great gift item and generally a good costume.

Costume is well-made and was a huge hit at the Halloween party. The fan was quiet and kept the costume fully inflated. The breeze from the fan actually helped keep me a bit cooler too. Just remember that Jabba doesn’t have legs. You kind of have to shuffle along, so maybe not the best choice if you have to walk a long distance.

Bought this last year, and it was fantastic. It isnt the most durable material, but I mean it has to be inflatable. The fan works fine, but can be finnicky at times. I had to adjust with some tape to ensure it was inflating at all times. Overall, inflates and used at a party all night without major issues. Packed up and used another time as well, so pretty good, though it should be for the price. Overall, hilarious and well worth it.

Its a great costume, however the eye holes cause for very limited vision. When filled all the way up with air, it gives a “jiggling” effect when you walk, which is hilarious.

Ok, first off, it looks a bit cheep, but it’s not expensive, so you get what you pay for. However, that being said, I bought this for my son for Halloween, and it was perfect, It worked just as expected and stayed inflated for the whole time he wore it. It also helped keep him warm, a plus on the cold night. I think it was a good purchase.

Excellent and authentic Jabba look, this goes down a storm with adults and kids alike. It does get quite hot in there and you can only walk slowly but that just contributes to the slug-like nature of the character.

The only real drawback is the mask keeps crumpling inwards, it could do with more support. But overall a great costume, recommended!

The first package arrived without a battery pack or mask, but I returned it and got a new, complete costume. Fits great, Catches everyones attention, and was a great price.

Cons: impossible to walk fast – you have to take 6′ steps like a geisha.
visibility is extremely limited, but at least you’re not going anywhere in a hurry

My Jabba wiggle brings all the Slave Leias to the Palace . Much like the inflatable T-Rex it’s an instant hit. I have never seen another person wearing one even at Star Wars Celebration 2017! i AM A 5’4″ female at 140lbs and it fits great. Do not expect to run or go fast in it, you will have a Jabba Shuffle and it’s wonderful. Plan to get stopped for plenty of photo ops! I altered is and added gloves to cover my hands and will be making a collapsible cage for the top so it retains its shape better when attached. I do tend to have to hold it as is but honestly it adds to the effect most of the time. I also love the looks I get when I take off the hood. Fan keeps you pretty cool, but dress light for it if you plan to walk a a lot and wear shoes you can shuffle in easily.

I LOVE dressing up as ugly as I can for Halloween and this definitely did the job in the best way possible! Lol! A group of us teachers did starwars characters for a group dress up and of course this is the one I chose. I chose to make my own headpiece to go with it because I didn’t want to wear the mask it came with. This is a crowd pleaser. My elementary students loved it! I think I only took it off to go to the restroom and to eat.

This costume makes an impression!! I am 5’9 and there is room for a taller person to wear it. It worked great for me. It does take up a lot of room so if you are in a confined area it will be hard to get around. The face is a separate piece which is good. You can take it off and the costume is still inflated. Like someone said, walking in it is slow. The feet cut outs are close together which makes for very small steps. But all in all a great costume and everyone loved it.

I’m 5’7″ and about 285 lbs and it fit me with plenty of room. Although, I will warn you…The feet holes are only about a foot-ish apart so be prepared to waddle! Quite funny in and of itself. 🙂 Also, the material can be a little stifling, keeping the heat in, but loved the costume overall! Got a great reaction and laughs.

I’m 5’2″ and 100lbs, the product was large on me and I kept stepping on my fupa. I recommend pulling the bottom up to your knees to avoid that and it’s easier to walk that way. It’s get very hot and steamy inside too, especially if you’re dancing and walking around in it. Had to hold onto my tail since people kept stepping on it and the floor was wet from people spilling their drinks. Overall it was a fun experience and everyone had a laugh.

I got this as a gift for a friend, and she LOVED it. It fit as expected. Only problem we saw was that when she was trying it on, the air pump wasn’t starting up so that the suit would inflate. We aren’t sure if she didn’t do a step right, or if its faulty. There didn’t look to be any damage at all. She didn’t fiddle with it too much when I was there, so it may be working now, and even if it doesn’t work the suit still looks awesome without being inflated.
I’m going on hope that the air pump works now, but either way, good product!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersdifficult to see out of the eyes, but still a fun costume. vision might be better for someone taller than 5.5 foot. If you plan on wearing this all day or night I’d pack some extra batteries as they dont last very long. Plan on not fitting into small spaces easily or being able to walk in a normal fashion, you have to work with this suit a little to pull it off. People are going to step on your tail, which can cause you to trip and fall. I would not recommend wearing this to a bar or club, I however did just that. Just imagine being in a small tent a bit bigger than your body and starting to sweat. The only incoming air is pointed at your rear and is supplied by a small computer type fan. The only part of your body exposed to fresh air is your hands and things will get steamy in this thing. Your face gets whatever you can draw in through the hood breathing to stay alive. I was unable to capture princess leia unfortunately. Was great for some laughs though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo, this thing is hilarious. Everyone loved it. And it worked fine even for my height (6’5″). It is definitely hard to walk in due to close spacing of the ankle holes. Also, while the inflating fan helps keep you mostly comfortable, the arms don’t get much airflow so they will get sweaty pretty quickly if you’re not out in cold weather. The head was a little harder to see out of than I hoped; you look through the mouth area, but the head doesn’t really stay perfectly in place as you move. It’s enough to see to maneuver around, but you’ll find yourself adjusting it to see specific people or things that are too low or too high to see otherwise. The inflator was quick and not too loud, and did a good job maintaining inflation for the whole evening.

If you want a fun star-wars themed halloween costume that’ll get everyone’s attention, go for it. Just realize the tradeoffs of maneuverability and temperature discomfort that you will likely encounter and have fun!

    Exactly what you would expect.
The pump that keep the costume inflated works well.
The costume is clearly bulky, but it’s light and deformable, so you can manage to move about ..

This was my costume for Halloween this year. Everyone loved it! I took my son trick or treating in it and had people pull over to take pictures with me. It was really hard to move around in. your feet come out the bottom and the holes are sewn very close together, so you can only take little steps. For me, it was worth it. I’m trying to think of a way I can mod it to look like “Pizza the Hut” for next year!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersOur family dressed up as Star Wars characters this Halloween and I decided to surprise everyone with this Jabba The Hut costume. Its about what I expected for the price. The quality of the costume is pretty good and should last multiple Halloweens. Here’s my list of pros/cons.

    Pros:
+ I like that the outfit has a removable head because I was constantly scaring children I passed when trick or treating and being able to take the mask off helps take away the kids fear.
+ This outfit should fit just about any adult male between 150 and 300 pounds.
+ It was really easy to put on and looked fantastic. I got tons of comments from people on the street telling me how awesome the costume was. Literally everyone that saw me thought it was hilarious and several people asked to take pictures with me.
+ It has a fan that takes AA’s which does a reasonably good job of keeping the suit inflated if you’re not moving too much.
+ It wasn’t too hot inside the costume partly because of the fan. I wasn’t uncomfortable or very sweaty after walking in it for about an hour outside on a 55 degree night.

    Cons:
    – The head is a little hard to fit so that you can see out the eyes. I would have liked a little more adjust-ability.
    – Trick or Treating in this thing is really difficult. You won’t be going up any steep hills and will probably tap out after about 30 minutes. The hols where the legs come out make it so that you can only waddle.
    – The costume loses it’s air pretty quick when you walk around and you have to stand still for it to inflate again. The process takes maybe 30 seconds which isn’t a huge deal.
    – You can’t easily put this on by yourself. I needed my wife to help me zip up the back.
    – The neck strap is pretty tight. I would have liked if they gave it an extra inch or two. If you have a huge neck this costume will be really uncomfortable if you try to tie up the back properly.

Overall I think this is a really cool costume that definitely made me the center of attention in our neighborhood (in a good way). Most of the kids loved it but a lot of the smaller ones were terrified. I do not think this is a great costume for trick or treating. I had to give up after 30 or 40 minutes and my dad ended up bringing my son to a bunch of houses without me. It’s perfect for a costume party.

Costume is large and cumbersome, but that should be obvious by its very nature. Should fit just about everyone. Three drawbacks: long tail would seem to make it inconvenient in a crowded place (speculation on my part; I am not going to wear it to a party setting), the short split between the legs forces you to make short, choppy steps and makes it difficult to go up and down stairs, and you will probably need someone to help you put on the costume. BUT, the costume is unique, seems to be put together well enough to get a few uses out of it, and is sure to get a lot of comments.

  32. LowellDehaven says:

Unit fit well but couldn’t really walk while wearing it. It constricts the movement of your feet like they are tied together. Obviously it is very hot while wearing it and the mask was a little off center so it was hard to see through it. Overall it served its purpose.

It is very HUGE, you for sure wouldn’t wanna wear it to large parties but rather to smaller house parties. The fan inflates it very well. Definitely will be the talk of the party for the funniest costume. Great value for a very smart release for a Star Wars costume. Highly recommend.

This costume is awesome! My mom wore it, she is heavy set at 5’6″ 280 lbs and it fit her great with room to spare. I’m sure it could fit a much taller and heavier person too. The only drawback is the foot holes are pretty close together, so you can’t take big steps. But my mom takes small steps and walks slowly anyway, so it was the perfect costume for her. she wore it all night with no problems. I had to help her unzip it when she had to use the ladies room, but otherwise it was really easy to take on and off. Also, when she needed to deflate it, (we all wore our costumes out to dinner before we went to the opening of the new star wars movie) we just turned off the fan and it deflated within just a few seconds. It also inflates very quickly too.

Fantastic costume, definitely an attention-grabber. Just want to add a note about sizing as there are several comments regarding the fit. Other reviewers note that it can handle 200 plus pound adults. Just want to add that I put my 5’3″ son in the costume, he weighs 96 pounds, and the ribbing around the wrists and ankles was sufficiently tight enough to keep the air inside the costume. Truly, one size actually does fit all! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am 5’3 female and quite small. So I was probably the world’s smallest Jabba but that was ok because I still LOVED it! This costume was SO much fun. I did have a problem with the pump breaking a few times while wearing it which I believe was because it overheated as I turned it off for a couple hours and it magically came back on later in the night. I wish the fan was a bit stronger because this costume is HOT, but it was a great costume despite the problems I had with it and it was a lot of fun to wear.

I bought 2 of these for our one year anniversary. because Jabbas bouncing around the kitchen is fantastic. Fan works great. Very quick to inflate. You can hear it, but not over your giggles! Like other reviews said, the leg holes are like ridiculously close, so you must ‘walk’ like you are in prison shackles. That just adds to the hilarity of the suit. I really want gloves for this or something maybe I will get unicorn hooves or Bugs Bunny mitts. Warning: Cats don’t approve. Dog is suspicious. GET YOU ONE. Never know when you will need it! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersby far the best costume of the night all over town! i read all the reviews before i bought. the only star wars costume for a reasonable price that has all positive reviews. the one negative is that you cant walk normal pace. i walked all over creation halloweeen night and i was bringing up the rear by blocks ha ha. i took a lot of pics with strangers and a of selfies ha ha. my friends and family had to wait on me the whole night. if you are going to go trick or treating all over town like i did i would have second thoughts. but if you are going to stick to your neighborhood or going to a party you will have a blast. its also durable. i walked all over the place and it didnt tear or rip at the bottom as it drags on the ground. the battery pack worked great. took 4 aa batteries and lasted 3 hours straight in the on position. i got my jabba for 46.75 and its the best bang for my costume buck i have ever purchased. its also a great idea to have some saved audio of jabba talking on your android or iphone. i loved surprising people with jabbas voice.

This costume is just awesome. It took literally 3 minutes to put it on and less than that to take off. It runs on 4 AA batteries and new batteries run for about 90 minutes on continuous operation. The fan keeps you inflated and cool.

This costume is so awesome that I won an Apple TV at the Halloween costume contest at work. Everyone wanted to take pictures with me. Great fun stuff.

The only minor inconvenience is that the zipper is a little hard to put it on by yourself. You need take help. I worked around it by tying a sewing thread to the zipper so it works like a wet suit. 5 Stars.

It fit fine, though it does get rather toasty inside the costume as there is very little breathability. The fan helps, but I was still sweaty at times. Also, as others have mentioned, it doesn’t do too well indoors. The tail is long and the costume will block an entire hallway.

  47. UrsulaLeverette says:

This is pretty much the best costume ever. The costume blows up HUGE and the cut-out feet at the bottom forces you to walk with small steps which makes it even more hilarious. The tail is huge as well and sways back and forth on the floor as you walk. Pictures don’t do this costume justice! The only thing that’s a but of a downside is that the head/mask part has some creases/folds in it that I can’t seem to get out. Other than that I highly recommend for costume parties or anything Star Wars themed. Don’t plan on wearing it for a long period of time though!

Two points 1) you will get hot in it. I wore tshirt and shorts underneath and still sweated like no ones 2) it is big! Fully inflated the tail is about four foot in length! I only found this out looking at the photos the next day. You will clear a dance floor if you are not careful. So be prepared to stand in the corner! Brilliant brilliant costume.

The costume has only one size, but it’s not a problem: depending on how tall you are, it will only affect how “fat” Jabba will be.
A warning though: it gets really warm wearing this costume, to the point you’re actually happy to leave the fan on just to cool you down!

You’ve had cheap halloween costumes right? You know about what level of quality to expect: none. Well guess what, this is actually a spectacular/hilarious costume. It inflates with a tiny fan that actually works and does not get in the way. The inflates shape is *awesome* and it’s relatively comfortable.

Never have I been so pleased with a generic halloween costume, this is simply a win in a bag. Only downside is exposed hands, but nothing is perfect. This is close.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll in all this is a nice costume. People really enjoyed it and it wasn’t too bad to move around in. Its pretty much a tent so the material is reasonably robust for party going.

    Only one major issue-

The battery pack that powers the fan came broken right out of the box. Lets just say it was made and China and it showed… Very cheap electronics. I opened up the package and something was already rattling around inside and it wouldn’t work. The switch was broken and while trying to fix the switch, two of the wires broke free (I was actually being very careful not to manipulate them too much as well, just shoddy soldering). In the end we just rewired it and added a brand new switch.

I gave the costume a good review because hopefully yours will come with a functioning fan and I was more than pleased with the rest of the outfit. Easy to put on, comfortable (as long as the air is circulating). Just make sure you check it all out before the day of the party in case you need to fix anything!

Had to buy a costume for a work day out. This was voted by far the best costume in some very serious competition. Everyone found it so hilarious. I didn’t as I was the sweaty blancmange trapped in it all day but that’s not the fault of the costume 🙂

when i bought this i didnt comprehend just how large it would be. its huge.

    overall its a quality product.

unfortunatly my fan was broke on arrival, but with a little bit of tinkering i got it working.

its perfect for fancy dress partys. but its best if you bring a back up costume as it does get quite warm and can be hard to menuver in crowds

My boyfriend wore this for our halloween party. I went as slave Leia. Everyone loved our costumes. This Jabba costume is a much better quality than the slave Leia costume. The pump to inflate the costume requires AA batteries, which aren’t included. But the pump works great and keeps the costume inflated. The leg holes are a little close together, so it is somewhat difficult to walk in, but it’s fine if you’re just staying inside at a party.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy friends brought this costume for my stag do party. I have to say that this costume got so much attention you would not believe it. I was constantly having photos taken with groups of people who wanted to get close to Jabba!

The costume is light weight and isn’t uncomfortable to wear. There is a small fan and battery pack. The fan is stitched into the back of the costume and the battery pack has a belt/trouser slide that allows you to carry the pack. The battery pack has a on/off switch that allows you to inflate the costume giving the fat look. You can turn off the fan to deflate. This is handy for when you wish to sit down or walk through small doors as when inflated your are rather large!!! The fan also helps to keep cool, but should you find yourself dancing in this costume you will get hot rather quickly. Also be aware that you have a tail and people will stand on it!!! 😉

The mask has a tie so you can have it hanging from your neck when you wish to get some air and talk/drink beer (although the mask is big enough that you can drink beer!!!)

Out of all of the Starwars costumes out there, I would say that this is the best value for money. I love this costume and will be wearing it again without a doubt!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis was the best costume I have ever bought! But the one and lone bugaboo was the fan went kaput in one hour and I was so teed off over it dying. The fan was sooooo cheap. I hope to maybe find a replacement fan for it this year. But I was the hit of the party, I was a chick magnet Halloween night.
