Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersBe aware that not all the features listed in the ad for this camera are available without taking out a monthly subscription with Blackvue on top of your monthly sim cost. Limited to ten minutes live view a day and 100 videos a month, Also there is no live tracking unless you pay a further 10 a month subscription. Another thing to note is the 32gb model is 399 and the 256gb is 769, That’s an extra 369 for a 35 SD card which is crazy. The 32gb model works fine with a 256gb class 10 card installed.

Camera quality is good and it’s great it has built in lte allowing you to activate the provided nano SIM and use cloud connectivity. Hardwired to the car allows me to get instant notifications and check liveview without being near the car. Would definitely recommend as you get alot of features for the money. You are also able to use the dashcam as a WiFi hotspot for one device at a time.

So I have had this dash cam for over a year now and have had a few different dash cams in the past. This Blackvue is on the pricey side of dashcam however it offers some unique features, one is that is has a built in LTE module and comes with an included sim which you can activate and use for 4 a month which is very fair. This allows the dashcam to automatically upload files where an impact is detected to the cloud. If you add the hardwire kit purchased separately or the add on battery pack the camera will work while your car is parked. You can view front and rear cameras remotely from the app from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. One of the downsides to this dash cam is that there is an additional subscription cost you need to pay for to Blackvue if you would like to take advantage of all its features such as the built in gps tracker.
This dash cam does have some issues however, it has proven reliable and captured the footage in an accident I had recently and did not let me down; some dash cams don’t end up recording because they break or the memory card stops overwriting.
If you purchase this dash cam make sure you get the correct storage one for your needs because you are not meant to use memory cards from different manufacturers as this will void warranty and could cause damage.

It is not the cheapest of cameras but is definitely worth the money, I would hope they make a 4K version with a built in lte module as I feel the dash cam quality could be better. Combined with other accessories such as the battery pack you can relax knowing your car is monitored 24/7.
