I purchased the 30 watt version to replace a 300 watt halogen lamp which was still working but was obviously more expensive to run.
Prior to getting up the ladder to fit it I temporarily attached a 13 amp plug and set up the controls in my garage to test it. This is much easier than going up and down the ladder numerous times.
It’s been on the wall of my garage for a few weeks now and, even though it has experienced some pretty awful downpours, I’m pleased to say that it is operating perfectly.
I had a small query regarding the operation of the lamp so I contacted Yanlu Tech for advice and had a very prompt reply from ‘Doris’ who resolved it quickly and offered further assistance if required.
I’m very pleased with the lamp and support from Yanlu Tech.

Very good and bright. Angle of detection could be better.

I bought this to use as a garden shed security light and it does not disappoint , easy to set up and gives a bright light for its size. Overall great value.

Great product, well priced , could have done with a longer lead.

No recommendations on what to set the controls to. This would be useful when installing from a ladder in daylight but the settings have to work in the dark when it’s difficult to see the controls.

TBH I wondered if a 20w light would be man enough, but wow its bright! My hubby says its relatively easy to install although the bracket could be more sturdy. The PIR works well and being able to move it to face the required direction is great . Very happy with this purchase.

Superb Floodlight. Lightweight, good PIR sensor, very bright (20w), easy to install. Purchased to replace an old floodlight that had stopped working. I connected the installed wiring to the wires on the Eslas Floodlight using a waterproof junction box. Overall really pleased. Highly recommended Floodlight.

Seem excellent but have not seen them in action as only just charged, but look very promising.

Don’t know about longevity as only been up a short while
The cable on this one only about 14 inches long

It’s only 20 watts so it’s not all that bright but bright enough for my purposes. The cable is completely wrong. It should either be a lot longer or not there at all. The short cable can mean that you will require a waterproof junction box for outdoor use so, perhaps 2 metres of cable or more would have been better. However, for the price and, compared to others of similar design and luminosity, it’s a good lamp.

I bought 1 x 20W and 1 x 30W of the same light. One of them stopped after 4 months without any reason. There are also dedicated fuses for the lights to protect them.

But 20W works as expected since it was installed.

Replaced an existing security light and the good length of mains input lead on the new unit made it very easy. Worked well immediately and is very easy to adjust to your own light level/sensitivity/time on after activation. There are three easily accessible dials behind the sensor unit for this. I used a small mirror (to see the dials) as I adjusted these after installation and this made the task simple. The whole light and sensor unit is not large but is very bright and the sensor activation is excellent.

The design of the light appears stable, however, the sensor perhaps a little flimsy. The light is bright white and a good replacement for the previous halogen spot. The sensor settings need some experimenting with, but appear to work correctly. Overall a good replacement.

The light is bright and easy to adjust settings.. but fitting was a bit of a nightmare as cable is short. So had to rewire to fit this replacement light.. but overall worth the money

Ours was installed by an electrician, so I can’t comment on that aspect, but we are very pleased with our purchase to date – the light is bright and the motion sensor works really well.

I was not expecting anything different. The flood light works, bracket holds – if not a little flimsy.
The light is bright enough right under it, but not very bright at a slight range – it is only 20W after all.
Supplied cord length is enough to reach a terminal enclosure or similar.

Bought this 10W light having read reviews suggesting the light is bright enough. Not disappointed. I installed it on the side of the house to illuminate the drive at night when getting out of the car. The light given off is just right. Not dazzling that it illuminates the nextdoor neighbour’s house as well. So don’t be put off by the 10W. Easy to install. I bought a waterproof junction box to connect to existing wiring. Only slight issue is it only works at night which means that once connected it won’t illuminate to show it’s working as with others I’ve installed but I went out at night and the sensor turned on the light. The sensor controls are very small and fiddly as the whole light is very small anyway. At least being small it’s unobtrusive. Glad I bought it but as with anything like this as for longevity only time will tell.

Bought this product as it was on special price for two.No regrets as it is of good metal construction and fully sealed which makes it waterproof IP65. What I liked most was the simplicity to set up and the 3 control of the device (time to stay on ,sensitivity and illumination) are quite accurate unlike others products which i have bought in the past.Very bright at 2000 lumens extra bright white light, the PIR enclosure it is made of small dome shape strong plastic, another reason for recommending this product is the 2 years guarantee which the company offers, unlike other products which they offer standard one year.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersHaving purchased one of these of a different make that failed to work after days of setting and testing I returned that and purchased this. I fitted it and set it by guesswork.
There are three adjusters on the back, each has a little dot on.
“Time” I set to about the ten o clock position.
“Sens” I set to about the one o clock position.
“Lux” I set to about the two o clock position.
It is triggered at dusk by my pug and stays on for about fifteen seconds. Not excessively bright but good enought to see clearly by.
    Pretty much perfect.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersInstallation is easy, but you are unable to open the unit if you already have wires in place, to directly wire into the product. A junction box may be required, or wiring directly into a 3 pin plug would be the way to go. Worth knowing, as previous older filament security lights allowed you to directly wire them into the unit. The LED light is light weight and provides a good clean crisp light. Great for back gardens, patio’s and drive way illumation.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersNice little Security light, PIR is easily adjusted and quite sensitive. It’s not overly bright but i was aware of this before i bought it . The only negative is the power cable is far too short unless you have a electrical socket right next to where your placing the ligh

Golden Review Award: 42 From Our UsersMotion sensor is good and adjusts easily. Light intensity could be better – I’d go for a 15w or 20w instead for illumination rather than security reasons. Cable is short, so you will need an IP66 junction box if used outside. These apart, does the job.

I WAS ABLE TO USE THE BRACKET FROM THE BROKEN FLOODLIGHT AND I CONNECTED THE LEAD FROM THE NEW LIGHT TO THE LEAD FROM THE OLD LIGHT USING SOLDER AND HEAT SHRINK TUBING. THE LEAD ON THIS NEW FLOODLIGHT IS FAIRLY SHORT AND IT WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE EXTENDED ANYWAY TO REACH INSIDE THE HOUSE. SETTING UP WAS EASY AND IT’S BEEN WORKING PROPERLY NOW FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS.
