My only complaint is about the fan. It turns on at any time and is very nosy even if you are just browsing the internet. Sometimes is quite annoying
Apart from that, it has a beautiful appearance, the 2-in-1 experience is very good and the laptop it’s fast.

    I’m satisfied.

It’s much better than I thought as I’m not a fan of Windows 10

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAmazon inexplicably had these for 1095 for the Core i7 / 512GB SSD / 16GB / OLED model rather than the 1599 they normally list for so I bought it immediately. It would be a decent laptop for RRP but at that price it’s amazing.

The screen is gorgeous, and while it does reduce battery life vs the LCD option it’s still 8 hours or so. The machine is very responsive, leaving my much larger XPS15 with a 45W quad core 6th gen i7 in the dust, the keyboard is great, and you even get the pen and a nice folio case with it.

After years of Dell machines (private and work) with highly variable build and finish it is also very well put together. My only complaints are that the speakers are a bit quiet (but sound good), and some of the keys for slashes etc are a bit weird.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI got this laptop to replace my current desktop/iPad situation and it has absolutely delivered. The touchscreen and 360 transition is seamless and it boots up within seconds – a drastic improvement on my previous situation! It’s neat and compact, the quality of the build is fantastic. It came with a case and a pen for the touchscreen which was an unexpected bonus.

The click pad is responsive but less so than I would have expected. But that is literally my only complaint about this laptop, everything else is perfect.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGot this laptop about two months ago since my old laptop started giving battery and resolution issues. I decided HP Spectre x360 laptop since I heard good reviews about it and needed something powerful and packed with features. The laptop has a powerful Intel Core i7-1065G7 CPU, Iris Plus integrated graphics and 16 GB RAM.

The laptop is really gorgeously designed with an incredibly svelte chassis and also comes with a beautiful 4K AMOLED touchscreen. The brushed metal finish means the whole laptop feels premium and robust, with a 360-degree hinge that enables it to swap between laptop and tablet modes. Of course, all that shine comes with a price tag. The laptop is almost 1,600 which is a large sum to pay for a laptop, almost comparable to Apple laptops, but we’ll get more into that later. It’s also worth noting that the Spectre x360 comes with HP’s Tilt Pen, a decent smart stylus. I don’t use the stylus much so can’t comment on its functionality and usability. The keyboard has a backlit in white with large keys despite the compact design which is great. The laptop has two Thunderbolt 3 enabled USB-C ports and a single USB-A port, a headphone jack and microSD card reader. The HP Spectre charges via USB-C, leaving you with one less port if you want to use it plugged in. Speakers are of the Bang and Olufsen range which means that Spotify music is loud and I rarely need to attach an external speaker.

Now come to the issues. The HP Spectre runs pretty hot, particularly if you’re using it for demanding tasks such as 3D rendering or 4K video editing. The cooling is handled by two small fans that sit together on the base of the laptop, and while they do run quietly (unless you’re thrashing the CPU with demanding software), they’re not particularly powerful. The heat is never to a concerning degree but perhaps to an uncomfortable one if it’s actually sitting on your lap. This is no gaming machine either; the lack of a proper graphics card means that the latest big games will be beyond your reach. However, the Iris Plus graphics can handle more than you might expect at lower resolutions – perfect for puzzle games, or low-poly indie titles. The other thing is the battery: it’s not bad but not great either. Standard use will see it last most of the day, around 10 -12 hours, without needing to charge, although intense usage can push it down to as low as 4 hours. Although the battery does charge quite fast thanks to the USB-C connector.

To sum this up, buy this laptop if you want lightweight performance, flexibility and security. The laptop has face and fingerprint recognition to access the laptop which is a great feature. But if you are looking for powerful rendering and gaming power or if you are on a budget, it’s better to look elsewhere.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is the first laptop I have ever tried that converts to a tablet.
I have to say it’s amazing.
I’ve compared it to both the LG Gram 2020 and the Apple Air M1 2020.
It’s faster than the Gram and I would say slightly faster than the Air.
Both of those laptops are also superb.
I bought the Apple about a month agoit’s brilliant and my first Apple.
I would say basically though that it’s for different things. For me Apple for play and this for work/play.
    So .
    Pros
    Really fast
    Great screen
    Good camera for Zoom sessions
Easy to change to tablet- this is amazing
    Comes with pen
    Fast to charge
Charge lasts a long time about 18 hours for me before I decided to recharge
The tablet is great for marking work electronically
    Cons
Only one! I’m not a huge fan of the way the keyboard is lit. It has a blueish light which took me time to get used to.
    Ease of use?
I used Microsoft Authenticator App to help set up made putting windows etc on a breeze.
The set up is guided by Cortana and it’s really easy.
Out of the three new laptops I have and also comparing with my work HP this is the best overall.
It does it all. Laptop to tablet- easy to use windows- really fast- does look sleek in silver metal.
Only other way to really compare may be weightbut it’s not heavy.
    Amazing machine!
