I ordered this to help me strip the woodwork in my hallway and I can honestly say that it was the best piece of kit I bought! It was very easy to use, maintained its heat for long periods of time and was easy to hold. I would definitely recommend this product, it was so much better than using paint stripper! Tip: do not use paint stripper first and then try to use the heat gun, it just creates a hot mess! It works perfectly on its own!

I use heat guns a lot, whether for speeding up 2 pack filler (low heat) or stripping paint (higher heat). This heat gun is very flexible and a lot better than my previous heat guns. You can adjust the heat and the fan speed easily. I particularly like the feature that the fan keeps running for a while after you switch off to cool the gun down more quickly. It is designed to sit stably when you are not using it.
I had been very wary of these chinese brands with weird names, but ever since I bought a Huepar laser level I have felt that they seem reliable and was prepared to try other products.

I needed to heat shrink some cable ends at work as well as remove some old varnish from a wooden table:

    – The heat gun arrived in a nice box with the attachments neatly arranged and a decent set of instructions and
    product information.
    – The heat gun feels of a great quality, as do the various attachments so it feels as though it could last a while.
    – Although the heat gun is fairly big, it’s still comfortable to hold and use.
    – It’s also fairly lightweight as well which makes using it with one hand easy.
    – The power chord is a nice length so you’re not stuck with having to sit super close to a power point.
    – It works excellently and with one of the attachments, I was able to quickly and effectively shrink wrap the ends
of the cables that I needed to.
    – This was also super effective at helping to scrape off old varnish, as it heated it perfectly and the scraper
managed to get it off with ease.
    – The attachments are easy to clean off if they get dirty.

I would highly recommend this! It’s been super handy and I use it almost every day!

My previous experience of Huepar Tools (a 3D green Laser level) was phenomenal, so when I saw this Huepar heat gun I didn’t hesitate to grab it. I wasn’t disappointed. Every detail of its design and construction is practical. An example of an inspired design feature is the base stand: the heat gun is designed to balance on its back end when not in use, so the hot end is up in the air, not in proximity to floors, worktops or other surfaces. The gun is capable of blasting out heat from 50 C to 660 C. Hugely versatile. I ordered it primarily so I could strip off some borders that had been pasted onto walls in certain rooms of my house. Brandishing the heat gun in my right hand and one of the included scrapers in my left hand, I was able to alternate between heat/scrape. This made short work of the borders, which came down with ease once the heat gun loosened their adhesive paste. The gun has a whole range of other uses – so much so that I’m making a mental list of other jobs I can dive into with this tool, which is a joy to use.

As an experiment, I stood in the centre of my living room and blasted the heat gun at maximum temperature for around a minute. It heated the room up much more quickly (and probably more cheaply too) than any electric fan heater or oil heater could. I’m not suggesting that folk should use the heat gun for that purpose… only that I tried it as an experiment and got exactly the results I expected.

Pure quality at a fair price. The included extras add considerable value to the deal.

This is a good quality heat gun, which is well made, but feels lightweight and comfortable to hold. It has a clear LCD display on the top of the gun, which allows you to see the temperature setting you are working at and you can control the setting of the temperature for various tasks.

You also get several nozzle attachments included which you can use to direct the heat gun to specific areas, as well as several scraper tools for different uses.

There is a user manual included and advice for appropriate temperature settings for different tasks.

At time of review the heat gun is priced at just under 50, which is a price increase on previous price, which was around 47. I am not sure if it is really worth 50, but I do not really know the going rate for heat guns to compare value. I think it would be better priced around 35 at most though.

A very good heat gun with the advantage of temperature control, so if you need to do temp specific jobs it is very useful. Feels well made and has a clear display. Comes with various nozzles suited to different applications.

Super powerful heat gun. It comes well packaged and the gun itself feels of very good quality. The shell and all the elements feel sturdy and durable.
The heating itself goes up to very high temperature so one must take precautions when using it. It comes with with few useful accessories too. Simple and effective, recommended.

What a wonderful heat gun this is by Huepar! Unlike cheaper brands, this one is far more reliable and heavy duty. This item arrived well packaged and with the various nozzles and scrapers in a bag inside the box. The nozzles are made from fairly thin metal but they are only designed to deflect the heat so no need for anything heavier. The device has a large, variable temperature control in the opposite end from the heat output and combined with the two speed air flow switch, I was pleasantly surprised to find how much control it provides the user.

There is a little metal stand that folds down to allow the device to stand with the heat output going upwards, hands free. This is a good idea but the stand is very narrow and I wouldn’t trust that the gun wouldn’t fall over. I would probably stick it into a vice or some kind of clamp rather than use the stand. All in all, I’m very pleased with this purchase. 5 stars!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

This hamd held heat gun is like a super powered hair dryer.
It comes well packed in a cardboard box with lots of metal heat director accessories which enable you to btoarden or concentrate the heat from the nozzle, so it can be used for a variety of tacks, whether this be paint Stripper g or just to heat up a seized bolt.
The gun itself is pretty light to hold and more like a hairdryer in its use, with variable temperature settings from zero upto 660 degrees, at least that’s what it says on the display. I’m not sure actually how hot this gets as I have no way of measuring. I have tried this on some old metal paint that I wanted to strip off, and although it seemed to loosen it, it didn’t appear to actually melt it as I expected. As I said it’s more like a super hair dryer than a paint Stripper. Although I wouldn’t recommend trying it !
The heat gun does heat up really quickly, but takes ages to cool down despite the guns fan continuing to run after turning the heat off to assist cooling.
I can’t say that I have been that impressed and for the price just under 47 I don’t think I would recommend this, but would depend in what you want to use it for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hot but not hot enough

    Huepar Tools Heat Gun

This heat gun will heat up to 660 degrees which is plenty sufficient for removing paint. On my test this gun removed gloss paint well. There are some features that my old gun did not have, for example the 6 speed air flow. This is very handy for adjusting air speed and giving you greater control. I love the LED display, and with simple buttons you can control air flow and temperature either in F or C..
The gun doesn’t take long to heat and it only takes about 30s to cool.
In the box you get a good set of 10 accessories – A Tower, lass protector, fishtail, hook, and reflector nozzle. A triangle, club, and horseshoe scraper. a scraper handle and a putty knife. The accessories are easily attached to the handle by screwing them into place.
Overall, I am very impressed with this gun. It’s not a brand name I know, but it does just as well if not better than my admittedly older Bosch gun.

Huepar are best known for their laser levels, which have established a good reputation. This is a very comprehensive heat gun kit and includes a selection of nozzles, two scrapers, one flat and one which consists of a handle and different scrapers, and a set of instructions. The 1.8m long mains lead needs attaching to the gun, once attached it can’t be removed and the heat gun no longer fits in the box, which is a bit annoying considering the number of accessories it comes with, (there is a hanging hook in the mains lead which may be an option). My old heat gun, which I managed to melt, had an on-off trigger, the Huepar doesn’t have a trigger as everything is controlled from the keypad and shown on the LCD, very intuitive and easy to do. There are controls for temperature and for the fan speed. When the heat gun is switched off the fan continues to run and “COOL” is shown on the LCD, this continues for 30 seconds. The instructions are good and there is a chart of suggested temperatures for different jobs. The heat gun is light and very comfortable to hold and manoeuvre, it can also stand on end for soldering and heat-shrink jobs. A quality, versatile heat gun.

This is a nice and really good heat gun.

If you’re looking for a decent heat gun with a lot of functionality, this is it!

I have been through a few cheap heat guns, all with the same issue, you turn them on and you turn them off, that’s about it.

Not this one though, you get a really nice display with it, so you can see the temperature and the function of the heat gun, you also get some attachments with it.

You can control the temperature with this heat gun, which is what surprised me the most, as the ones i have always used in the past only have 2 settings, either off or hot as hell.

This gun let’s you control the temperature you want, depending on the application, for me i used it to help me peel off some stickers of a van, which worked great! It heat up enough to peel it off but not too hot to burn the paint.

Highly recommend it, based on the quality and funtions.

My old heat gun stopped working but this makes a near-perfect replacement. In fact, it’s a significant step up, in that it has variable temperature and speed, along with a display to show what you’ve selected. That makes it much more versatile than my old one. As well as paint stripping, it’s great for heat shrinking sleeves on cables, softening old adhesive, defrosting copper pipes, etc. It heats up quickly and cools down almost as quickly.

The accessories are very welcome. A bag or case to store everything in would have been welcome but I must already have something suitablesomewhere! A simple stand to place it in while cooling or between uses might have been useful too, but at least it can be stood on its heel — you just have to take care not to knock it over. The power cord is a decent length, at 1.8m (6 ft). The proprietary connection means it can’t be replaced with a longer one, sadly, so an extension lead will be needed for many jobs.

Not quite perfect, then, but close enough to be just about worth five stars.

This heat gun is a quantum leap from my old and now disposed of heat gun (Which was a Bosch)
This heat gun is controllable in both temperature and airflow (My old one wasn’t)
It is easy to hold and keep a good grip, even for extended periods it isn’t too heavy or cumbersome.
This one comes with a backplate you can sit it on to cool when you are finished (I had to be very careful with my old one while cooling, no such thought had gone into its design!)
This one came with a load of accessories in the box enough to cover the vast majority of jobs without having to spend another penny!
This one has an easy to read digital display, my old one trick pony Bosch had no need of one!
The heat up time is faster than my old one and to put it simply I cant think of any feature on my old heat gun that measures up to this new one, save that it was a recognised brand, which this one is not.
It wasn’t even expensive at <46 it represents great value for money.
This will be used for all manor of jobs, everything from removing paint to defrosting the freezer, (yes I know that's really naughty but I managed with the old one and I can amp this one down!) it can be used for any job that needs the application of heat just as long as you are careful
There are cheaper available but they all have more in common with my old heatgun than this one.
I would certainly recommend this product to a friend or family member, or even to you!
    Happy to help.

A good quality heat gun with an impressive range of useful accessories, this Huepar 2300W heat gun has gone down well with my partner. It’s perfect for removing old paint – do use a mask – and in his view a better and less expensive option than using a liquid/gel paint stripper.

The gun isn’t too heavy to hold for sustained periods of time but does appear to be very solidly built and should prove durable. Full instructions are in the box if you’ve not previously handled a heat gun – but it’s fairly intuitive. And the various nozzles, scrapers and blades are easy to affix and remove from the gun.

With variable heat, the option to switch to Fahrenheit if desired and a very handy LCD display, this is a cut above average as heat guns go – and is well worth the asking price, just shy of 45 at time of writing given its quality, ease of use and the sheer amount of time you’ll save when stripping off paint.

We recently bought an old house which needs quite a lot of work done. We’re doing bits and bops ourselves to save some money. This heat gun was just what we were looking for. We have doors and stair bannisters which have layers and layers of paint. We could have bought paint stripper but it’s rather pricey and we would have needed quite a lot for all the areas that needed stripping so decided to give a heat gun a go.
This heat gun is really easy to use and as we were beginners they are certainly beginner friendly.
We tried the heat gun on a door first and it worked brilliantly, the gun would heat up quickly and we could easily scrape off layers of paint. The heat gun even comes with various accessories which is an added bonus.
Really happy with this and would certainly recommend. It’s sturdy and well made, great quality item which I think is also good value for money.

My son is over the moon with this multi functional tool. He’s just stepped on the buy, do up and sell ladder and given that he’s not rich he’s doing a lot of the decorating himself. So I snapped this heat gun up as I knew he would love it, and wasn’t I right.

He said stripping is now a dream rather than a nightmare. He said the gun has made his life so much easier. He said like “a hot knife cutting through butter”

All the accessories are pretty handy too. And the hun itself feels quite robust. Functionality is pretty straightforward but instructions also included.

The tool Itself is easy in the hand and easy to operate. He was actually in the process of stripping paint the old fashioned way. And he said it would have taken ages.

There is a useful LCD display that tells what’s what. Also has a safety shut down for just in case!!

It heats up quickly and your good to go. Multiple uses rather than just for stripping makes this tool in mine and definitely my sons opinion worth every penny.

This tool can be used for many things, the thing I will be talking about is removal of paint on a decking. I painted my decking last year and decided that I wanted to change colour, Problem is, it’s a dark colour and I’m wanting to go lighter. My problem was that, how was I meant to take the paint off, this tool has made my life a heck of lot easier and less of a job to do. I took the paint off well or should I say peeled it off well. That’s enough for me to give this a perfect rating. It was very easy to use, very happy with it overall.

I’ve used many heat guns in the past but they’ve all been of the type you switch on, it heats to one temperature & that’s it.

Whey I like most about this product is the adjustable heat settings, this gives you so much more control. I’ve used it to strip paint off an old table which I’m upcycling & it worked great. I was impressed with the amount of accessories you receive which allow you to direct the heat where needed and also to shield delicate areas.

Huepar Tools Heat Gun, 2300W 50- 660 with Large Digital LCD Display

This Huepar heat gun is described as an Industrial model, although it is very similar in size to a standard heat gun, the difference seems to be that this does have adjustable heat and fan options. I was impressed by the amount of extras that are included with this, not only do you receive 5 x interchangeable nozzles, you also receive 2 x decent quality scrapers (one is described as a putty knife). The draw scraper comes with 3 different blades, these are secured by a nut on the end of the handle, the scrapers are well made and should last a long time.

The 5 interchangeable nozzles consist of: 1 x Tower nozzle, 1 x Reflector nozzle, 1 x Glass Protector nozzle, 1 x Fishtail nozzle and 1 x Hook nozzle. The glass protector nozzle will be very handy as I have a huge amount of windows that need to be stripped and repainted. All of the nozzles are made from thin chromed metal, they just slide over the end of the heat gun.

The heat gun itself is made from a hard silicone type material, this appears to be quite tough and able to take a certain amount of abuse, the handle has a softer silicone coating providing a good grip. There is no trigger to operate this, instead there are on top a small display screen, along with 4 push buttons, the buttons are: Power, Fan, Up and Down. The power button switches on and cycles between hot or cold air. The fan button allows you to change the fan speed in 6 stages. The up and down buttons allow you to change the temperature in 10 steps from 50C, right up to 660.

I do like that this heat gun has a a flat back to it which enables it to sit on a workbench hands free facing upwards. This allows the heat gun to be set down safely and allowed to cool, it also allows you to work with the heat gun for maybe shrink tubing on wiring or other bench mounted task. I also like that it has a good selection of nozzles, each designed with a specific task in mind. The scraper and putty knife set are a welcome extra which are certainly welcome.

Overall this appears to be well made and works well. I like that it has the many heat settings. I need to soften old putty around glass windows, the lower heat settings and glass protector shield will be ideal for that purpose.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA variable heat gun, with a range from 50deg C to 660 deg C. You can change the temperature displayed to Fahrenheit if required. The gun is suitable for striping paint, loosening rusted nuts and bolts, shrinking heat shrink tubing, soldering heavy duty cables etc.
Along with the heat gun, you also receive an electrical lead and nozzles with different shapes and functions. There is a tower nozzle, reflector nozzle, glass protector nozzle, fishtail nozzle and hook nozzle, a page in the handbook explains all their functions (see photos). You also get a putty knife and scraper with three blades (triangle scraper, club scraper and horseshoe scraper).
Be aware, once you have connected the electrical cable, you won’t be able to remove it again. It comes separate for easy packing.
The heat gun has a LCD screen, the temperature and air volume are displayed on the screen, so you can control the temperature and air volume, which you do by pressing buttons by the screen (see video).
The heating element heats up very quickly, and when you switch off, the fan will continue to run for 30secs to cool every thing down, and ‘COOL’ will show on the LCD. Be aware, the tip of the gun will still be hot, so stand the gun on its specially designed base, which will hold it upright to finish cooling off. Make sure your surface is stable, so that it doesn’t fall over and burn something.
A great tool that strips paint and varnish in no time, I find it especially handy for soldering, as you can leave it upright on its stand, leaving both hands free to do the job, then finish off the joint with some heat shrink tubing.
I thoroughly recommend this heat gun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool for decorating and soldering
