It feels like very well built keyboard. It feels like it will last for ages. It takes a lot of getting used to when transitioning from membrane keyboard to linear switches. When gaming, it feels a lot more responsive. Work wise, still getting used to . I am having more typos at the moment. Minus one star, as it is quite loud. Adding an O ring under keycaps somewhat mitigates pres down sound. There is not much to be done about sound on key return. Noise levels will depend on how you type of course. Overall I would reccomend this keyboard.

Coming from a budget gaming I’m used to budget keyboards with dim lighting and membrane keys so this was a huge step up for me and I’m glad I went with HyperX alloy elite 2! You can feel the quality when you lift the keyboard its hefty! the media control keys are very huge plus as I use them alot but my only gripe with the volume wheel is that it doesnt click and really smooth so it might feel really weird if youre used to clicky volume wheel, red switch feels great and very smooth and quiet! love the fact that switch gaps are small so its pretty easy to clean any dust below the caps and last but not the least its very very bright!

I finally decided to invest in a descent keyboard and I am so glad I bought this.
Its very sturdy but quite large and heavy even for a full size keyboard.
The light bar is incredibly bright and vibrant and the customization options are great. The pudding caps feel nice and you still get a satisfying click with every tap.
The media controls work well and I use them a lot more than I thought I would when I purchased the keyboard. All in all a great keyboard with handy extra controls.

Bought this 3 months ago and I have to say that it’s the best keyboard I’ve ever used.
The HyperX Red Switches sound amazing with the HyperX pudding keycaps.
The five buttons on the top right work great if you want to play videos in the background.
There are four brightness levels on the left along with two other buttons.
HyperX Ngenuity works perfectly and the rgb is extremely bright and lovely on the pudding keycaps.
Only improvement I see is that it’s NOT hot-swappable if you would like to customize it.
Other than that I would 100% recommend this keyboard as it also comes in Aqua and Blue switches from what I know.
I would like to point out that since it’s a full-size keyboard it takes up most of the space on my desk.
Great Mechanical keyboard would recommend if you want a full size keyboard.

This is easily one of the best keyboards I’ve used. I swapped out an aging Corsair K95 RGB for this, and I was expecting it to be a downgrade just based on prices paid for both. Couldn’t have been more wrong.
The RGB is much more brighter, and the keys feel nice to use.

My only minus is the software, NGENUITY for the RGB isn’t the most easy to use, and also the twilight function only uses random keys if you’re running software in the background, when saved to keyboard it’s always the same keys, this has been a bug for years it seems, and HyperX don’t care enough to fix, which is a serious question as to their commitment to both products and their customers.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI finally started searching for a new keyboard after my old top-of-the-line Razer keyboard broke down after 2 years. For me, it was always about hearing the keycaps so the clicky keycaps are ideal for me. However, I gave this keyboard a try even with its linear switches. This was a replacement for another top-of-the-line Logitech keyboard, which I hated the feeling of so I returned it back and replaced it with HyperX.

This was my first HyperX product and I have to say that the keyboard is absolutely brilliant in every single sense. The keycaps feel great even though they are pretty quiet. They have this “pudding” feeling to them while remaining very sensitive to touch. The build quality is as robust as it gets, which makes the keyboard quite heavy as the main body is made out of steel. At least it means that the keyboard won’t move around on the table, especially when placed on top of a pad.

The software is pretty easy to use and it is what you would expect from a gaming keyboard vendor in 2022.

Lastly, the lightning of this keyboard can only be described as “RGB af”, since more than half of the actual keycap is transparent, you can clearly see the lights and colours.

Even the additional volume buttons are made out of steel so HyperX definitely did not cheap out on the components on this keyboard.

It feels absolutely brilliant and I love it for both gaming and typing, it is almost addictive!

Once again, as someone who uses their keyboard on a daily basis and basically sorts the keyboards by high-low price when picking a new one, I have to say that this is the best one I was able to find for me, even though I had keyboards from Logitech and Razer that were twice as expensive.

Actually, there is a very tiny problem that I encountered, but it is so tiny that I won’t even reflect the rating on it – the Caps Lock, Num Lock and G Key indicators are quite hidden behind the Numpad, so unless you have your head above the keyboard, you won’t often see them. As someone who leans back into their chair, I find myself leaning over quite often just to see if the Caps/Num locks are on. Once again, nothing major.

I love this keyboard. After using various gaming keyboards this is the best I’ve used. These settings are great and you can spend hours setting the colour to exactly what you want to fit your PC. It did take me a while to get used to the height of the keys but now I am, I can highly recommend this keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI absolutely love this keyboard. The lighting and key presses are great. The keyboard feels quality and is very durable zero flex. This keyboard is going to last a life time I can tell.
If you are thinking about purchasing this, click the buy button now. Totally glad I did

    Definitely a great purchase

Great keyboard, feels very premium but that would want to be the case considering the price, it is quite pricey but definitely does what it’s meant and teh pudding keycaps are a fantastic switch from the ordinary matte caps

It is my first time using a mechanical keyboard, why didn’t i do it sooner! The keys have the right sensitivity for me on both gaming platforms and for general use. People have complained about the software but I found it no problem and it allowed me to play with the keyboard setting. Love the explosion setting.
Definitely recommend this board to anyone

I returned this keyboard due to not needing a replacement for my current keyboard once it started working again.

First off the RGB is no joke, the ABS pudding keycaps shine through so brightly compared to other RGB keycaps on the market.

The HyperX red switches are quick and feel good, coming from cherry browns, they felt a bit different but I begun to get used to them after 6 hours of gaming.

Overall I would buy again, if my current keyboard decides to break agai

Bought this as I thought I needed a proper keyboard but as it turned out I don’t. Quality is great but even the supposedly ‘red’ cherry equivalents are still pretty noisy compared to a non mechanical keyboard. I also found that they sit quite high and this made my old duffer fingers ache more whilst gaming. LED lighting works really well if you can be bothered – I really only need a backlit keyboard but thought this would make a change. I purchased this via amazon warehouse so saved a few quid but noticed that the manufacturer often does a better deal directly. In the end I gave it to my daughter as she loved it. Although it comes with a useful powered usb slot you need to use two usb slots on the back of your pc to enable this so it’s not really a true extra usb.

    TOTAL
This keyboard use a super easy configuration with the extra bottoms (volume, stop, play , forward) really nice if you have a big desk and you are looking for a full size keyboard. (Not tkl and no 60%)

I like also the extra usb port to plug my phone and charge it in a more convenient position than using my tower.
I took mine with some Red Cherry switches , they are nice , lineal and not really loud as clicky. I don’t remember if they had any other switches to swap for.

    BUILD
You could feel the quality of the alloy ( the keyboard doesn’t feel plastic at all,
Feels robust) .I wish to have some Pbt keycaps in it but despite that the material on the keys feels nice. (Also a nice detail they add some extra AWDS KEYS with a print for your fingers to identify easier)
I been using those since I bought it.

    RBG
Taking about the Ngenuity software controler For Rgb , i will love to have some extra effects, how ever the actual RGB its nice an smooth on the keyboard. (Also i have a MOUSE HYPERX PULSEFIRE) and it match pretty well .

    SUMMARY.
+ I will totally consider to buy again Hyper X on the future, the materials are good and i feel like cost what i pay, no disappointment in that area.

-I will love to see a improve in the software , thats the only area i will focus for next generation.

Please give a thumps if you feel it helpfull.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Complete keyboard.

I think I could use this to chop down trees it is so well-made! Love it and doubt I will ever want another keyboard. The reviews speak for themselves. Simply awesome.
The LED’s are very configurable and the keys have a lovely feel to them. Not the cheapest but definitely in a league above the rest.

First mechanical keyboard i have owned, bought off of the recommendation of a friend and I cannot have been happier with this. (Especially with the hyperX wrist rest also)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s amazing for typing and gaming, the switches are perfect for me. I’ve tried Cherry Browns and I always felt like there was too much resistance and I made to many typing mistakes but with these reds I don’t have that issue.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThis keyboard is brighter than my future. It’s RGB is a dazzling array light show from when the disco scene of the ’80s was at its peak. Its steel frame construction is more solid than my bedroom performance.

In all seriousness, I initially purchased a Corsair K70 with Tactile Brown switches which broke within 3 days of using it. That was swiftly sent back and refunded which made way for the HyperX Elite II. A keyboard that provides linear feedback switches made entirely by HyperX themselves. To provide context, the full-size format of this keyboard is great for productivity when work calls, but it’s also compact enough that it isn’t swallowing every aspect of valuable desk space.
In terms of ergonomics, the adjustable kick feet are great and it’s low profile enough that makes typing on this keyboard comfortable, and smoother than my partners’ legs after a shave. Even without a wrist wrest support (available to buy separately from HyperX, although other brands are available) I don’t really feel as though I’m missing anything by not having it.
The keypads are the bright and sturdy “Pudding caps” again made by HyperX themselves, and have to say compared to the Corsair I received, they are far more sturdy and the ABS is definitely thicker. I don’t mean to brag, but I am a pretty heavy typist in my everyday work life, the fact they are able to put up with my heavy-handed pounding day in and day out after a week with no wobble, I’m certain this keyboard will last as long as my previous HyperX keyboard; the Alloy FPS pro with clicky keys. Which I had to put away in the cupboard much to my partner’s delight, saving her ears and allowing her to get to sleep for those late-night gaming sessions.
Finally we come to the media controls, the lighting controls and the software. The latter of which I have yet to use, i’m pretty happy with the RGB make go fast but others may want to tweak and customise there settings. The media controls consist of forward, back, pause/play and mute function, along with a volume control will. Even a handy “G” button exists for when your gaming and you don’t spoil the session by misclicking the windows key.

All in all, a solid keyboard for everyday use and gaming alike. Well worth feeling (at the time of purchase 140) lighter. My fingers, ears and my partner are thankful for it.

If you’re considering other brands like Razer/Steelseries/Corsair, I’d say take advantage of Amazons returns policy and give this a go, you might just find what you are looking for.

Simply the best - Better than all the res

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrilliant keyboard! The build quality is top notch, feels very solid. The keys have a lovely feel to them and I’ve found them to be great for both gaming and typing. They have a satisfying ‘clack’ to them so you know you’ve pressed them, but it’s not annoyingly loud like some keys can be. The RGB on this keyboard is just insane! Really bright and vibrant and the software is easy to use and gives plenty of choices. Media controls are great. Love this keyboard, it’s a 10/10 from me.
