The tool is a great tool but DO NOT ADD ACCESSORIES FOR THIS THE BATTERY AND CHARGER . The battery doesn’t fit for this tool!.

Not bad, cuts through a lot of stuff, even a 2b4: Broke my saw on the last joist to cut, thought I’d try this, cut through it in a gifi!
    Neat sanding attachment too!
A must have for anyone converting a campervan!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMega Teil. Also dort, wo ich wirklich Kraft bentige.

I’ve used this a lot since purchase and it’s a great little tool. 2 minor flaws. It gets very hot at the vents and very quickly. Also the Allen key to change the blade is located at the battery end and falls out when the tool is vibrating. I’ve lost mine already. Overall very happy with the tool.

I got it for cutting guttering and thought it might be tricky to keep it steady but was easy enough to do a straight cut on the first go. It works like a dream on plastic. I’ve since used it on wood and that’s just as good, obviously with a different blade. It’s got a nice weight to it too which I like. Not heavy but just enough so it feels good in your hand.

A little under powered on some applications but for a 10.8v tool it’s fantastic for diy at home and the price is great too

Very easy to use . fairly comfortable to handle. Over all for the price of the product it is well worth the money.

Great tool, but you don’t get much more than 30-40mins with the 2AH battery I have.

A very handy tool with nice variable speed control and fits my other 10.8v batteries. Could be a 5 star but the blade changing mechanism is a pain. It’s not difficult or complicated just a bit laborious with a long bolt thread which feels a bit overkill on an oscillating tool. Apart from that minor irritation I’m pleased with it. Typical high quality Makita build.

Never actually got to use this as I mistakenly bought the 10.8V version. The 18V however is great and the person I gave this to rates it pretty highly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat tool that does what it says. I have the Makita drills already as well as generic cutter accessories, so didn’t need another battery. Have used it to sand & cut and it has a surprising amount of power for a 10.8v with a 2.0ah battery giving about 1 hour of constant sanding before re-charge.
Just the basic machine in a cardboard box with no accessories (unlike one of the pictures) but it was what I was expecting on close examination of the description.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAs I had done my research and read the product description this multi-tool was as expected, I already had a charger and spare battery as this is not my first Makita 10.8v CXT tool. I purchased a set of Makita and other make accessories to enable me to do a number of tasks and knowing how to use the tool and by letting the tool do the work have not been disappointed.

I have purchased a Really Useful Box 4 Litre Office Storage Box – Clear and got a bit of foam to keep the tool and accessories in, smaller than the official boxes, stackable and take up less space.
