First important thing to be aware of with this front and rear camera set, is that you will need to run cabling inside your car in order to connect both cameras to one another. This cable is included, and there are some configurations for fitting the cable to be found in the included manual. Attaching both cameras appears to be permanent, so if you feel conscious of leaving a visible camera in your vehicle while you’re not driving it, this won’t be the device for you.
The camera starts recording as soon as you turn on the vehicle, and you have a certain amount of control over how frequently you want footage to be recorded. The front camera’s microphone is turned on as standard, but you have the option to disable it. Audio recording quality is very clear with no additional background or camera mechanical noises, unless you press one of the camera’s buttons during recording. The video recording quality is also very good, with a slight fish eye view to capture a wider area. Videos are embedded with date and time as well as vehicle speed and location, though when I tried recording, the built-in GPS wouldn’t detect my location at the time.
There is no memory card included, so that will need to be purchased separately as the camera will not operate without it. The supports SDHC Class 10 and up memory cards to a maximum of 32GB.
Overall this is good value for money. My main complaint is that the manual didn’t explain everything about the camera in as much detail as would have been useful, so figuring out some features takes a little trial and error.

The SNOOPER MY-CAM RFC2 dash camera worked well for us. Set up was ok and all the operational aspects (pictrue quality, operating, and so on) were also ok.
This is the first dash cam we’re had so don’t really have anything to compare it with. You want an item like this to be a little effort to install and then to more or less forget it in use – until you need the footage of course. We didn’t have much problems here.
One point that we didn’t foresee (though obviously we should have) is that tinting to the rear window interferes badly with the rear facing camera. In our case the tinting being add on film it’s removable so this has given us the push to remove the film which is too dark for our liking anyway.

This was detected straight away on boot up and the rear cam is displayed in a windowed image on the display.
The instruction manual is detailed and informative, easy enough to follow however the dash cam itself is quite intuitive too. I downloaded the Snooper Drive HD App which allows access to the Dash Cams videos, and allows you to modify the date and time etc. You’ll need to connect to the Dash Cam wirelessly (see manual for password etc)
Overall I’ve found this to be really useful, the video quality is superb and it’s easy to download the videos to your smartphone. That being said, I’m a little disappointed that it uses Mini USB and requires the lead to be plugged in – surely in this day and age dash cams should be wireless with a quick charge where necessary!

My friend was the victim of a bogus claim from a third party who claimed they were injured in a car accident. My friend didn’t even come close to the claimant and they lied to say he did. The entire process dragged on for months before going to court, where my friend won. These days, having a dash cam is extremely important. The build quality is good, and the recordings and photos are reasonably clear both day and night. The wide-angle lens captures everything in front of it. The menu functions are simple to navigate through. Overall, it works well price is okay considering it comes with the rear cam also. This dash cam is an effective way to see how we and others drive, and it can be used to determine/prove who was at fault in an accident.
It is not too big and also it has a very goodsize screen behind it. The image quality is very very good and no lag with the video and the quality of the video. The night time recording was also brilliant and i defo recommend it. I hope my review was helpful

The camera quality is good and runs at 1080p at 30fps with the rear running on 720p at 25fps. The recorded footage runs smoothly but i would prefer 60fps as i would be able to pause the video and see numberplates more clearer.
This can be connected to a smartphone and footage can be viewed/shared from it as well as some settings alterations.
The night vision works well enough, so no complaints there.
I like that the gps is built into this model, my previous cam has an awkward attachment added to it.
I have noticed the field of view is wider on the front cam than the rear by about 20 degrees.
The pricing seems to be a little more expensive than i’d like. I feel like this should be priced more in the budget range.
Overall the build quality is okay, it’s nothing flashy but it works and the camera is running well at this time.
These days, Insurance companies are more likely to pay out for any accident if there is evidence from a dash cam to back the claim up. This is very useful when people scrape my car, So i can prove that it is not my fault, And no claim can go through smoothly.

This is my first ever dash cam! So was a bit apprehensive as to if it would be difficult to do, but I’m glad to say I found it pretty straight forward. I’d had some info off a work colleague regarding installing as he’s had a few as he’s a petrol head, his cars are his pride and joy, always parks away from other vehicles at supermarkets etc. Give me some pointers I wouldn’t have thought of like allowing for the dirty part of window (bit your wipers don’t reach) when mounting your camera back and front, so ensures the camera will be on an always clean part of the window. It connected to wi-fi right away, something my colleague said isn’t always the case. He also mentioned that it wasn’t interfering with my Dab radio, something he’s had problems with with other makes. I like the snooper function that records movement around your vehicle automatically and the auto record should your vehicle be hit whilst it’s parked. The batteries in the these dash cams are apparently not very good so my friend will be fitting a hard wire kit so the camera is always live and won’t be relying on the tiny battery these have. I’m very very happy with this and how the installation went, the hardest part was hiding the wires underneath my car’s trim. Very happy with dash cam, all it’s functions and the installation process.
